Carbon Theme

I've developed Carbon for personal needs for Gallery 2. Although Carbon is based on Matrix theme, the theme provides subtle icons for standard tasks including adding items to cart, adding comments, viewing comments, viewing slide show, and moving through albums. Carbon maintains a clean appearance by hiding the sidebar and providing a button to slide the sidebar into view. The default gray color palette provides contrast for images. Photo pages provide a Flickr-like thumbnail navigator to move to photos nearby the image currently viewed. Additional icons reveal IPTC and EXIF data for the image and a view full-size image link. Carbon works well in Firefox and IE6.

Special thanks to Pedro for allowing me to use some of his icons. I have developed this theme inspired by PG theme. But it is not based on PG theme.

Carbon Image Frame

I created this image frame for Carbon theme and it is based on Shadow image frame. If the colors are suitable it can be used for other themes as well.

Note: Carbon image frame requires ImageFrame module.

Installation

Unzip the files into Gallery 2 folder.
Go to Site Admin / Themes / All Themes tab and install the Carbon theme.

Note: If you want your site to display ads at the top right of the page, you need to copy & paste the ads code into ads.tpl file.
